Pilates / Yoga
Pilates is a systematic arrangement of floor exercises that
lengthen and strengthen muscles to create a trim and toned look
while promoting long slender muscles, a strong back, a flat
abdomen, and firm lifted buttocks. Pilates exercises are designed
to restore posture, enhance athletic performance, improve balance
and coordination and heighten mind-body awareness. Pilates
programs are led by certified instructors trained in Intensive Mat
Pilates.
Yoga postures are
also incorporated into our class format, fusing the traditional
exercises with the artistry of yoga postures and the core strength
of Mat Pilates to create a perfect combination of strength, power,
flexibility, and increased mental focus.
